The Rosminian presence in Venezuela dates to 1958. The Fathers of the Institute of Charity and the Sisters of Providence (Rosminian Sisters) are committed to works of charity in Maracaibo, Cabimas and El-Alto de Escuque. The main activity of the Rosminians in Venezuela is their educational work in schools, with a total number of pupils of about 2000.

The Fathers and the Sisters are committed to assist the poor, and to foster the spiritual care of the local Christian communities.
